Young Guns

I feel pretty safe writing this with 4:13 to go and the Hawks up 16 over the Rockets. The Rockets top 5 right now, who are missing Yao and Tracy McGrady, have an average age of 31.6 years. The Hawks' oldest player right now is Al Harrington, who will be 26 next month. 26! Dude, *I'm* going to be 26 soon, and I should not be close to the age of the Hawks oldest player. There is something to be said for youth, although experience can trump sometimes, it's tough to trump it for 48 minutes on the court.

Joe Johnson has an awesome line right now, 9-15 with 22 points and 10 assists. He hasn't cracked double digits in the assist column very often, although we were all expecting him to be Jason Kidd mixed with Vince Carter or something. If only we could play horrendous teams all the time. We're now up 13 11 points with just under 2 minutes to go. Look for the Hawks to hit double digits in the wins column.
