Dear Matt, we still can't play Defense.

Josh 1 returned to the court but was unable to make a difference, as the Hawks fell to the so-so Jazz last night. Deron Williams (who I'd like to point out was a point guard we didn't draft but could have) had a monster night, going 11-13 from the field. This wasn't exactly typical of his season, and he wasn't the kind of PG we needed anyways. WE NEEDED ONE LIKE CHRIS PAUL, who I would like to point out has not punched anyone in the nuts this season.

Goat of the night goes by default to Al "True Professional" Harrington, who had 5 turnovers and shot 7-18. He had about the same number of assists, and I can't get mad at him for a performance like that in all honesty.

Goat of the night is the Hawks defense, which was not good. When a team shoots almost 56% for an entire game, you are doing something wrong. Deron was on fire, but the rest of the starters shot pretty well, too. I suppose you could say something about the Hawks keying on Deron and that would let others get opportunities, but if they were keying in on him don't you think he would've missed a few more shots?
