AL HORFORD F/FLORIDA

Check out my liveblog predictions and reactions over at TrueHoop. Here's what I wrote at #3:

Prediction: Dang, I was hoping Durant would fall. I want Mike Conley, Jr., Billy Knight wants Al Horford, Hawks ownership wants Yi, and Belkin wants to ruin the franchise. My money's on Horford.

Reaction: Billy Knight likes big butts and he cannot lie. Horford has the size to play center and will fit perfectly in the Hawks up tempo offense. With Josh Smith and Horford protecting the rim, I dub them the Swat Team.

No Amare, no problem. Horford is ready to play, even more so than Shelden Williams was. I wanted Conley (obviously), but I'm happy with this. The pressure is on Shelden to get better. I don't think Woodson will start Horford at the beginning of the season, but he's going to get serious minutes and will get the starting nod over Dr. Z if he performs as well as we think he will.
