Hot Video

I just found this video on Billy Knight's computer, shhhh...

Actually I got it from Exodus Mentality, in case you need to "Ask A Real Black Man." Also he does taxes.

Man, I am unimpressed. The vocal arrangement was slightly too jumbled for my tastes. Oh, the basketball player? Yeah, the guy does have some skill, but highlights should be better than that. I could probably put together a highlight reel that nice with an afternoon playing pick-up, without the dunking of course.

Right now I think there might be a chance we can get Oden- only if Portland takes Durant (which I they will) and Seattle takes one for the team. How about the #3, #11, and Tyronne Lue for Luke Ridnour and the #2 (Greg Oden)?

3,11 - All Mixed Up, Don't Know What To Do

We have to get our point guard for the next 3 years out of this draft. Mike Conley, Jr. is the best pure point in it. Acie Law ain't a bad second choice. Unfortunately there is no guarantee either one will be there at #11, and both are a little bit of a reach at #3. Both those guys make every player on our team better.

I don't want the Chinese guy. People keep saying he's the next Dirk, but the reigning MVP took about 5 years to blossom.

Noah at #3 would be a lot like taking Shelden last year at #5. This team is full of glue guys (Shelden, Josh) that lack leadership. Noah is different. He has that leadership ability that NOBODY on the Hawks has. But you can't expect a freaking rookie to be the leader of your team, can you? Denver tried it with Carmelo and it took a few years. I don't think Noah's impact is going to be heard in the next 2 years, and the Hawks need impact immediately.

The best trade option I heard was to send Conley and the #11 to Portland for Zach Randolph and Jarret Jack. Maybe we throw in Speedy Claxton to get the money right, but Portland has to want to reunite Oden and Conley, don't they? Man, there is no way that happens, I don't know what I'm thinking.

Billy Knight, you freaking jackass. His approach seems to be that it doesn't even matter who he picks, the draft is so deep that he can't possible draft somebody bad. I will agree that the situation is not as clear cut as, say, taking Chris Paul instead of Marvin Williams. Or rookie of they year Brandon Roy instead of Shelden Freaking Williams. Don't forget how lucky Atlanta is that we didn't get completely shafted on this draft! And Knight is responsible!

It will be interesting to see what happens, and I am not confident that we land a point guard. If Speedy Claxton can be healthy next year, he can still be the answer to our needs. But that is a monster *if* and we absolutely must invest in a PG of the future. Conley will definitely be there at 3 and he gives Knight a chance to rectify his past failings in terms of acquiring the field general. But we all know that Knight doesn't give a crap about what he's supposed to do, and there is a 99% chance he will draft the best player available. Let's just hope he thinks it's Conley.

God help us if he drafts Javaris Crittendon.
