Big Sigh of Relief

Hot off the presses, the Hawks (and Thrashers) have had their contract ban removed. All parties agreed to adjust the restrictions such that the Hawks are limited to contracts of 4 years or less and cannot exceed the salary cap, which was just bumped to $53.1 million.

These rules should apply to pretty much every contract for someone not named Wade, Lebron or Kobe.
