Nah-Nah-Nah-Nah, Harr-Harr-Harrington, Goo-ood-bye-eye!
Al Harrington has a tremendous agent. He was able to drop the following quote without punching himself in the face:
Once Harrington goes- and there is renewed interest in him, now that he dumped his dead-set on Indy agent, the Hawks will be almost free of slackers. I could actually get excited about this team, and not hate as much as I have been. We've got a respectable center core, now that we signed Lorenzen Wright (who was probably worth the $3 million a year), a respectable front line with the Williams boys and the Josh's, and we have a bonafide INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTAR in Joe "Kid Dy-no-mite" Johnson. Speedy Claxton may have been Chris Paul's backup, but he ain't exactly Tyronn Lue, either.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to stop hating on Billy Knight, but I am going into this season with a positive attitude. Get ready for a playoff count-down, some big Popeye smiles from Josh 2, and Most Improved Player, Marvin "Sexual Healing" Williams.
Tellem said Harrington is much like Utah's Andrei Kirilenko -- someone who can play multiple positions and is effective on both ends of the court. If by "both ends of the court" he meant the left end and the right end, maybe- I've seen Harrington take way too many plays off on defense and go for a strip instead of holding his position and protecting the basket far too many times to give him any kind of credit as being a complete player. Kirilenko had 1.5 steals and 3.2 blocks to go along with *his* 15 points and 8 boards (and 4.3 assists). Harrington averaged 0.18 BLOCKS PER GAME. From a 6'9" athletic forward? He only had 1.1 steals and 3.1 assists, too. Please don't compare Harrington to Kirilenko. The Hawks would never think about letting Kirilenko go.

We signed Wright???
Is that a "Great, we signed Wright!" Or is it more of a "oh crap, now we have Lorenzen Wright..."
It's a decent contract, and he's loads better than Batista and it's not even fair to compare him to John Edwards. He ain't the young Lorenzen, but we can squeeze another 2 years out.
Hey Matt, I have a few questions about your blog. Since you don't publish your email address anywhere on the site, do you mind emailing me at bullsblogger@gmail.com ?
